Who Inspires You?

"Who inspires you?"  During thanksgiving, my cousin Charlie once asked me this question. He said: "Who inspires you? You can't become an amazing dancer without having someone to look at." I believe that I am my own inspiration. You can do anything without looking up to someone else. Though, since that Thanksgiving day I have asked myself, who inspires me?

So as i'm doing the normal demi plie, grand plie, into the barre, and out of the barre combination my mind keeps going back to the person or thing that I look up to. "I'm thinking that my inspiration could be cousins and friends living out in California, when I realize that she is fixing my leg position, right next to me.  My teacher, Austin.

Austin has a voice like honey, and hands like a warm blanket. But most importantly, she guides and motivates me through every step I take. She is a fairy. She knows whats going on, but she doesn't talk a lot. Though, when she does talk, the honey spills out, hugging onto you and grasping you in to its sweet smell. Austin is the type of dancer that you see at the ballet and makes you cry. She is a gorgeous dancer, my role model, my motivation and my inspiration.
